Red Dragon Fruit

Red Dragon fruit, also known as dragon fruit, sesame fruit or cactus fruit, is native to the tropical forests of Central and South America. Taiwan began to have a history of cultivation in 1645. The cultivation of red dragon fruit is characterized by its high yield and little use of pesticides. It is also because of the many advantages of the cultivation surface that has made it a boom in recent years.

The Red Dragon fruit is oval in shape, with it's most distinctive feature being the dragon-like scales on the outside. The Red Dragon fruit is rich in organic acids, protein, vitamins, soluble fiber and other nutrients. It is delicious, nutritious, and easy to digest, which is beneficial to our health. There are two types of dragon fruits commonly found in Taiwan: red flesh and white flesh. The Red Dragon Fruit has a soft, juicy taste with a unique and elegant aroma. The biggest feature is its red flesh, which is rich in antioxidants and contains the effect of betaine. The white-fleshed dragon fruit has a sweet and crisp taste, making it the perfect choice for combining with fruit salads.
